February brought some exciting new releases to Hobbytimeathealys.com, featuring both brand-new miniatures and fresh licenses!
First up, Food Fight!, designed by Quirky Unlimited, adds a fun and humorous twist to your D&D campaign with its animated food-themed characters.
We also introduced two fantastic collections from Black Bird Miniatures: The Circus of Madness and Ladies of Fairy Tales (spoiler alert: there’s more to come!).
Meanwhile, Witchsong and Witchguild released their latest monthly sculpts, offering some truly incredible and unique designs.
Here’s an overview of everything we added this month...
New Studios and Collections
Quirky Unlimited - Food Fight!
This hilariously fun miniature set from Quirky Unlimited brings the ultimate battle of Sweet vs. Savoury to life—what else could it be called but Food Fight!
Whether you have a sweet tooth or prefer something salty, this collection has something for everyone. From the Cheeseburger Banner Man, to the Donut Battle Mage, every sculpt is packed with intricate details and is available in both tabletop scale and 75mm display size.
The range features a variety of classes, including samurai, warlock, and templar, making them a perfect addition to your next tabletop game. But that’s not all—there are also unique roles like a blacksmith and a count… perhaps your next Dungeons & Dragons party will stumble upon an entire living food village!
And if you need a true villain for your campaign, look no further than Ser Badmix—the big bad of the Food Fight universe!
Black Bird Miniatures
The Circus of Madness
First from Black Bird Miniatures, we have the stunning The Circus of Madness. A set of four stunning miniatures depicting the performers from this macabre circus.
Be welcomed to the big top by Giselda: Master of Ceremonies, and then the show begins. First be entertained by Aradia: The Puppet Queen and her favourite puppet, Annabelle, who is maybe a little too realistic?
Then the next act is Sabrina: The Show Girl, keeping the audience on their toes with illusions, but don't try to look behind the curtain. To close the show we have Stella: Infernal Trapeze Artist. From fire dancing to the highwire, this performer can do it all. Don't get too close though, as it's not only the fire that burns.
This range is available in 32mm, 50mm and 120mm, as well as each model having their own intricately detailed bust. Have a look at the full range and run away to the circus!
Ladies of Fairy Tales
Another collection from the people at Black Bird Miniatures is called Ladies of Fairy Tales. The range features stunning sculpts of fantasy creatures. The collection is divided into two distinct parts: witches and creatures of nature.
New Miniatures
Witchsong Miniatures
Gearworn Serpent
The first model for February was this amazing steampunk sculpt of the Gearworn Serpent. A great option for a villain for any cyberpunk, futuristic tabletop campaigns. Available at an incredible 190mm tall on a 50mm base or in bust form. Either way, you don't want to get bit by those robotic fangs!
Avatar of Despair
Not even really sure where to begin with this terrifying sculpt of the Avatar of Despair! This monster is a literal definition of nightmare fuel, ready to slay your party of adventurers with its kusarigama scythe, venomous mouth or even a kick to the head with its hooved feet! This is not a boss for the faint of heart, be creeped out in its full scale glory, or for those wanting a painting challenge, it is also available as a bust.
Witchguild Miniatures
The Swoleceror
When we saw a miniature called "The Swoleceror", we had high hopes, and thus absolutely nailed it. With clear inspiration from Atlas Holding the World, this incredible sorcerer sculpt is covered in intricate details. From the starry sky on his robes to the ornate detailing on the planet, this is a beautiful sculpt (with a hilarious name) is a great option for both a painting project or character choice. Model is available in tabletop size, 75mm scale and Gargantuan size as well as a bust.
Arcburn Brawler
Models of brawlers/monks/fighters rarely capture the level of dynamic motion as shown in the Arcburn Brawler! This stunning sculpt perfectly captures the rage and power in the facial expression as well as the flow and texture of the clothing fabric as they unleash their kick. The bust, particularly would be a great painting project for those wanting to practice their techniques with shading on textures and flesh. An addition to the bust, this model is available in tabletop size, 75mm scale and Gargantuan size.
