Pinktober is back and bigger than ever, as this time it's not the stream involved. By buying miniatures from the webstore you can also contribute towards our fundraising month, as 10% of every order will be donated to Cancer Research UK. Minis and supporting a good cause? Surely it's too good to be true!
In this blog we will cover what Pinktober is, how you can get involved and what to do if you want to paint pink too.
What is Pinktober?
Pinktober is HobbytimeAtHealy's annual charity month that happens every October. Throughout the month, Lewis paints only pink models in aid of breast cancer awareness and raising money for Cancer Research UK. He aims to flood the social feed with pink miniatures to start conversation, raise awareness and break the stigma.
2025 is the 4th year the event had been held since 2021, actively involving the HobbytimeAtHealys community to also paint pink. Since the first event, the community has raised over £1000 to support this fantastic cause.
How can I get Involved?
The easiest way to support this fundraiser month is to head to the Pinktober 2025 Tiltify page where you are able to donate directly to the cause!
However, this year we are going one step further and are pleased to confirm that 10% of every sale from the store over the month of October will be donated to Cancer Research UK via the Tiltify page.
This means that you get yourself a new model to paint, and contribute towards to a good cause!
Can I also Paint Pink?
Of course!! It's encouraged to get along! We fully understand not everyone can afford to financially support, so painting pink is a great way to get involved. Time is a valuable thing to invest!
If you've started painting something pink for October, have a look at the HobbytimeAtHealys Painting Palooza competition. Where one lucky winner will win a voucher for the webstore as voted by public vote. Just make sure you read the rules and use any relevant hashtags to participate.
Can I have some Pink-spiration?
Pink + Inspiration = Pink-spiration!
Painting pink mini does not mean we are just dipping models into a vat of pink paint and hoping for the best (if this is what you want to do though, have fun!). Maybe it's styling armour in a different way to incorporate pink, or maybe using pink OSL. Make your models pink anyway you want. Maybe try a new technique featured on our Hobby Bingo!
Over the years, Lewis has incorporated pink into various minis and models, using different techniques. Here's to showcasing a few of our favourites...
Magnus the Pink (2022)
What do you get if you combine Magnus the Red and Culture Hustle's World's Pinkest Pink? You get Magnus the Pink! One of the most iconic paint ups from Pinktober, ticking off painting a dream model
The Necro-meowncer (2023)
Bringing back the Pinkest Pink, but this time adding some UV resin in the mix! This model features the FantazTiger at 75mm Scale, which you can buy from the webstore.
Pink OSL Eldar (2024)
This model was painted testing Wave 3 of Two Thin Coats (which we loved!), using the pink crystals to emulate a magic glow over the figure.
All these are featured on HobbytimeAtHealys Instagram, as well as even more pink minis!
